Dr. Rachel Kaziyev began her optometry journey at Georgia State University, earning her Bachelor’s degree in 2011 before completing her doctorate at SUNY College of Optometry in 2019. She trained in ocular disease at St. Albans VA Medical Center and worked alongside cataract surgeon Dr. Malik of Malik Eye Care in various locations across the state. She also had extensive training in Pediatrics & Vision Therapy at Ezra Medical Center in Brooklyn. With over a decade of experience in pediatric eye care, myopia control, ocular disease, and custom soft contact lens fittings, she has returned from New York, ready to deliver top-notch care to her hometown community. She joins the team of doctors at 20/15 EyeCare, equipped with state-of-the-art technology for early detection of eye diseases, including chronic dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye conditions. Dr. Kaziyev is passionate about her tailored approach to patient support, delivering personalized treatments while ensuring the best standard of care.
