Meet the Staff

Dr. David Lopp graduated from Nova Southeastern University college of Optometry in Davie, Florida in 1994. He is a native of New Orleans, La. and has a bachelor of science from Louisiana State University. His specialty is contact lenses and treatment and management of ocular disease. He also enjoys sports vision and has examined many professional and amateur athletes. During the Olympics of 1996 in Atlanta, he examined many Olympic athletes at the B&L vision performance center. He has been married for over 30 years to his wife, Leslie. He has two daughters, Shayna who is a teacher and Lindsay who is studying to be an author. During his free time, he walks a lot with his three dogs, loves all types of sports and still plays summer softball.

Dr. Simone Lewis received her Bachelor of Optometry degree from The Rand Afrikaans University (RAU) Johannesburg, South Africa. She earned the distinction of being valedictorian of the graduating class of 1992. She completed the Advanced Standing International Program at the New England College of Optometry in 1996, where she received her Doctorate of Optometry.

Prior to graduating from RAU Dr. Lewis volunteered her services at the Taung Hospital in South Africa, providing optometric care to under privileged residents of rural townships. She has been living in Atlanta for over 17 years and has enjoyed practicing primary care optometry during this time. Dr. Lewis’ areas of expertise include pediatrics and ocular disease.

When not taking care of her many loyal patients, Dr. Lewis enjoys spending time with her husband Daniel and her three children. She also loves to travel, exercise and read a good book.
